About the role#
Mortenson is seeking a Marketing Intern to join our team in Kirkland, Washington. This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to support our marketing and business development efforts through hands-on project work.
What you'll do#
- Support the preparation of internal communications and proposals by gathering project and team information.
- Maintain personnel and project data, files, and systems within company databases.
- Create and organize graphics and photography to support marketing initiatives.
- Collaborate with local marketing teams and corporate partners to develop concepts and execute designs.
- Research external partner organizations to assist the business development team.
- Maintain brand consistency across your work and implement current design techniques.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, Journalism, or Business Administration.
- Thorough experience using Adobe InDesign.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as the Adobe Creative Suite.
- A basic understanding of construction and general business practices.
- Strong skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
