About the role#
The Institutional Equity Strats Summer Associate Program is a 10-week intensive experience. You will work alongside full-time professionals on quantitative projects within an assigned team. The program includes an introductory training week covering market knowledge, finance, and coding. You will receive ongoing coaching and feedback throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Create data and analytical decision-making tools.
- Conduct analysis and present research ideas.
- Develop supporting frameworks and workflows.
- Deliver valuation and risk management systems.
- Solve problems related to statistical analysis and computational finance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Excellent programming skills in C++, Java, Matlab, Python, R, or Scala.
- Strong mathematical academic training.
- A keen interest in financial markets.
- The drive to work in an intense team-oriented environment.
