About the role#
The BNY Trading Internship Program provides hands-on experience within the Trading Execution and CIO practice. Over 10 weeks, you will work on projects related to trade support, transaction processing, and operational controls. This role is designed for students who want to understand how trading workflows, risk management, and market structures connect in a professional financial environment.
What you'll do#
- Monitor trade activity and help review pricing, liquidity, and execution details.
- Support reconciliations, reporting, and control processes to maintain accuracy.
- Use data and tools to identify trends and support performance analysis.
- Learn how markets, trading workflows, and risk controls function across teams.
- Participate in enterprise-wide onboarding, speaker series, and networking events.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate program with a focus on Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
