About the role#
We are looking for students to join our Wealth Management team for a Summer 2027 internship. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Plano, Texas. You will work directly with advisors to gain hands-on experience, learn about the branch office environment, and understand different investment strategies. This program provides an introduction to the financial services industry through practical projects and mentorship.
What you'll do#
- Assist with summer intern projects, including archiving and electronic file conversions.
- Help advisors set up or update their websites.
- Deliver presentations on relevant securities, industry subjects, and products.
- Work side-by-side with advisors on summer marketing efforts.
- Complete training on industry-specific software and regulations.
What you'll need#
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Rising Senior status pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mathematical aptitude.
- Proficiency with computer hardware, operating systems, and software such as MS Office and Outlook.
- A genuine desire to learn about career opportunities in the financial services industry.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
