About the role#
The Financial Analyst Associate intern provides analytic support to the business unit management team. You will maintain, analyze, and report on key performance measures. This role involves working independently and as part of a team to ensure project deliverables are met. You will also interpret Long Term Service Agreement contracts to ensure financial terms and milestones are accurately executed.
What you'll do#
- Perform margin erosion analysis.
- Prepare cost and revenue analysis.
- Participate in internal audits of accounting and administrative controls.
- Review account reconciliations.
- Assist in developing profit, loss, and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and cash flow analysis.
- Support management reviews of financial statements.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a four-year degree program in Finance or Accounting.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and journals.
- Proficiency in calculating figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Knowledge of accounting, database, manufacturing, and project management software.
- Ability to solve practical problems and handle concrete variables.
- Skills in basic algebra and geometry.
