About the role#
The Institutional Equity Strats Summer Associate Program is a 10-week internship designed to give you experience working alongside full-time professionals on quantitative projects. You will join an assigned team for the duration of the program to work on trading platforms, market making operations, and derivative structuring. The program includes an introductory training week, individual coaching, and continuous feedback to help you understand a long-term career in this field.
What you'll do#
- Solve complex mathematical problems using your technical expertise.
- Create data and analytical decision-making tools.
- Conduct analysis and present research ideas.
- Develop supporting frameworks and workflows.
- Build valuation and risk management systems.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a PhD or Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Financial Math, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, with a graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028.
- You have strong mathematical training and a keen interest in financial markets.
- You possess excellent programming skills in C++, Java, Matlab, Python, R, or Scala.
- You have the drive to work in an intense, team-oriented environment.
- You have strong communication and decision-making skills.
