About the role#
QC Servion is looking for a Staff Accounting Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. You will work with accounting professionals to gain experience in general ledger activities, financial reporting, payroll support, and month-end processes. This role is a full-time, remote position based in the United States.
What you'll do#
- Assist with account reconciliations and the maintenance of financial records.
- Support the preparation of journal entries and various accounting schedules.
- Help with month-end close activities and payroll-related accounting functions.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Participate in audit preparation and process improvement projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing, with a preference for Junior and Senior students.
- A basic understanding of accounting principles gained through your coursework.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Location & details#
- This is a remote role located in the United States.
- The internship runs from the third week of May through the second week of August 2027.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
- Travel may be required up to 5 percent of the time.
