About the role#
QC Servion is looking for an Accounts Payable & Accounting Administration Intern to support daily accounting operations. This role offers exposure to vendor management, expense administration, financial recordkeeping, and accounting support. You will work alongside accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience in the operational side of a professional services organization.
What you'll do#
- Assist with vendor onboarding and the collection of necessary documentation.
- Maintain vendor records, including W-9s, ACH forms, and compliance documents.
- Process invoices and manage expense report administration.
- Monitor employee expense report submissions.
- Support employee and vendor accounting inquiries.
- Assist with data entry, record maintenance, and organizing electronic filing systems.
- Support expense audits and documentation reviews.
- Track daily cash activity and help prepare accounting schedules or reports.
- Assist with audit preparation and participate in special projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior standing, with a preference for Juniors and Seniors.
- A strong interest in accounts payable, accounting operations, or business administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
- The role is remote and open to candidates within the United States.
- The term runs from the third week of May through the second week of August 2027.
- This position may require up to 5% travel to various locations within the United States.
