About the role#
MNP is hiring a Summer Student for the Assurance and Accounting team in Leduc, Alberta. This full-time position begins in May 2027. You will work on-site as part of a team that provides financial information and advisory services to help clients make business decisions.
What you'll do#
- Develop technical skills in audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and tax.
- Perform walk-throughs with clients for accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and capital asset transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in financial documents and entries.
- Build relationships with client contacts and work closely with the engagement team.
What you'll need#
- Working towards or completion of a bachelor degree in business administration, commerce, accounting, or finance.
- Progress toward meeting prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Previous office experience, customer service background, or familiarity with accounting and tax software are considered assets.

- This role is based in Leduc, Alberta.
- The position is a paid, full-time summer internship for the 2027 season.
