About the role#
MNP is hiring an Intern or Co-op Student for our Assurance and Accounting team. This is a full-time, paid position based in Vancouver. We are looking for students available for the Fall 2026 or Winter 2027 terms. You will work on-site as part of a team that provides financial reporting and advisory services to our clients.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in audits, reviews, compilations, bookkeeping, and tax.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Investigate and correct discrepancies in financial entries and reports.
- Collaborate with the engagement team and interact directly with client contacts.
- Draft correspondence, technical reports, and client summaries to outline engagement findings.
- Set up files for new clients and conduct inventory counts.
- Perform walk-throughs for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
What you'll need#
- You are working toward a bachelor degree in commerce or business administration, with a preference for accounting or finance majors.
- You are working toward the prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Previous office experience in an accounting role is an asset.
- Experience in customer or client service is helpful.
- Familiarity with tax and accounting software is considered an asset.

- Compensation: $45,000 to $55,000 per year.
