About the role#
MNP is hiring a Co-op Accounting Technician for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position running from January 2027 through August 2027. You will work on-site as part of the Assurance and Accounting team to provide financial information and support for our clients.
What you'll do#
- Assist with compilation, review, audit, bookkeeping, and tax engagements.
- Prepare and maintain government filings, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and expenses.
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes.
- Reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and POS system uploads.
- Set up client files and assist with administrative planning and budgets.
- Identify errors, investigate discrepancies, and work with managers to resolve issues.
- Communicate with government agencies regarding assessments and information requests.
- Collaborate with the client engagement team and travel as necessary.
What you'll need#
- An accounting certificate or a bachelor degree in commerce or business administration with an accounting major.
- Up to 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
- Experience with accounting and tax software.

- Locations: Regina, Estevan, Weyburn, and Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan.
- This role is on-site.
