About the role#
MNP is hiring Co-op Accountants for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based in Saskatchewan. You will join the Assurance and Accounting team to assist clients with financial reporting and business strategies. The term lasts for 4 or 8 months starting in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Build technical skills in audits, compilations, tax, reviews, and bookkeeping.
- Perform walk-throughs with clients for payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital asset transactions.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to summarize client status.
- Evaluate audit evidence for revenues, expenses, and accounts receivable.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial documents and entries.
- Set up files for new clients and manage multiple engagements at once.
- Prepare technical reports and correspondence to present findings to clients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in business administration or commerce with an accounting major.
- Progress toward meeting the prerequisites for the CPA Professional Education Program.
- Previous office experience is helpful, though not required.
- Experience in customer or client service is considered an asset.
