About the role#
This is a 6-month internship or co-op assignment within the Vacuum Product Group starting in January 2027. You will work with the reliability engineering and design engineering teams to support vacuum product testing. You will report to the director of reliability engineering.
What you'll do#
- Perform reliability and product testing on vacuum equipment.
- Document findings in test reports and share results with the engineering team.
- Assist with the design and construction of test fixtures.
- Write software code for test automation and data collection.
- Work in a lab environment that involves handling gases like N2 and lifting up to 50 lbs.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Andover, Massachusetts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated initiative, resiliency, and time-management skills.
- You must be a US Person.
Location & details#
- Location: Andover, MA.
- Term: Winter 2027 (6 months).
- Compensation: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 days of accrued vacation for those working at least 20 hours per week.
- Travel: Up to 1% travel may be required.
