About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 term based in Irvine, California. You will work with the Product Marketing team to support the high-speed detector line. You will report to the Senior Product Marketing Manager and gain exposure to various business divisions through a 6-month assignment.
What you'll do#
- Collect data on market development and technical advancements for VCSELs and ethernet transceivers.
- Gather competitive product information to help shape marketing and pricing strategies.
- Create and update product training materials for the sales staff.
- Maintain and improve content on product web pages and marketing collateral.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assist with daily operations and process improvements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, material sciences, or a relevant field.
- Technical or scientific knowledge gained through your coursework.
- Strong organizational skills to manage, prioritize, and complete tasks.
- Experience with data analysis, specifically using Excel.
- Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and computer programming is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Irvine, California.
- The internship is part-time and scheduled for the Fall 2026 term, starting in August or September.
- Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Interns working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 days of accrued vacation.
