About the role#
As a Mechanical Engineer Intern or Co-op, you will join the Valves and Integrated Process Solutions group. You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering and partner with our Engineering and Tech-Ops teams. This position is a full-time, 6-month assignment beginning in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Engineering and Tech-Ops to contribute to product design and development.
- Participate in lab test set-ups and perform experiments.
- Use 3D CAD software to support prototyping.
- Learn the basics of CAM and CNC machining.
- Collaborate within a multifunctional team environment.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Completion of your 2nd or 3rd year of undergraduate studies.
- Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Ability to work with hand tools.
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs.
- Willingness to work in lab areas where high voltage and toxic gases are present.
