About the role#
This is a 6-month co-op assignment beginning in January 2027. You will work with the Engineering and Tech-Ops teams to support the design, testing, and development of new and existing products. You will report to the Senior Manager of Engineering.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Engineering and Tech-Ops teams on product design and development.
- Set up lab tests and perform experiments.
- Use 3D CAD software and learn the basics of CAM and CNC to assist with prototyping.
- Collaborate with a multifunctional team.
- Work in lab environments that involve high voltage and toxic gases, where safety procedures are mandatory.
- Lift up to 30-40 lbs as needed.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program for Mechanical Engineering, having completed your 2nd or 3rd year.
- Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor.
- Ability to use hand tools effectively.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude through coursework or other activities.
- A portfolio or presentation of projects you have completed.
- Strong communication skills, honesty, enthusiasm, and a drive to succeed.

- Location: Andover, Massachusetts.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time.
- Compensation: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour.
- Benefits: Includes 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 days of accrued paid vacation for those working at least 20 hours per week.
