About the role#
The Digital Healthcare Business Unit develops products ranging from medical imaging to wearable sensing and in vitro diagnostics. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to support experiments and accelerate learning through prototyping, testing, analysis, and technology scouting. You will help define, design, and drive sensing, electromechanical, and fluidic products to market.
What you'll do#
- Support experiments through prototyping, testing, and analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Electrical Engineering Hardware, Software, Biomedical, and Usability teams.
- Work directly with external vendors.
- Contribute to the development of medical device, wearable, or biotechnology products.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree as a junior or senior, or a master’s degree, in Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD.
- Hands-on prototyping experience.
- Strong academic performance and project experience in dynamics, fluid mechanics, and electromechanical systems.
- Ability to work full-time on-site.
