About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience across multiple supply chain disciplines, including Direct and Indirect Strategic Sourcing, the Diamond Procurement Network, and the Power+ Supply Chain Transformation Program. You will report to the Senior Director of Strategic Supply Chain Management and assist with strategic initiatives, supplier capacity planning, and cost reduction projects. The role involves exposure to procurement processes, contract administration, and digital transformation efforts. This is a one-year minimum commitment with the potential for extension or transition into a full-time role.
What you'll do#
- Support category management teams with strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier relationship management.
- Assist the Bottoming Cycle Supply Chain team with procurement, supplier coordination, and project execution.
- Contribute to cost management projects through spend analysis, benchmarking, and data collection.
- Develop and maintain executive-level dashboards and KPI reports using Power BI and Excel.
- Prepare RFQs, support bid evaluations, and assist with supplier negotiations.
- Create, track, and revise purchase orders within SAP while maintaining procurement compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Finance, Legal, and Project Management.
- Prepare presentations and reports for leadership regarding supplier performance and sourcing opportunities.
- Participate in supplier meetings and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Comply with all company safety policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration at a four-year university. Junior year students are preferred.
- Interest in or experience with supply chain operations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (Pivot tables and VLOOKUP are a plus).
- Familiarity with Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn new software programs.

- Location: Lake Mary, Florida.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 16 to 28 hours per week during the school term, with the ability to work up to 40 hours per week during breaks and summer. We will work around your school schedule.
