About the role#
As a Supply Chain Intern at Daikin Applied Americas, you will contribute to business projects while learning from experienced professionals. This internship provides hands-on experience, professional networking, and exposure to career paths within the organization. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Own or support a supply chain project aligned with team needs.
- Analyze data and processes to find opportunities in sourcing, procurement, planning, materials, logistics, inventory, or supplier performance.
- Build or improve reports, metrics, dashboards, and standard work documentation.
- Partner with teams across Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Finance to gather information and develop solutions.
- Assist with supplier, risk, cost, capacity, or process analysis.
- Communicate your findings and recommendations through reports and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- The ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Coursework or project experience in supply chain, operations, or data analysis is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization or ERP tools is a plus.
