About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027. You will work on projects tied to real business needs while learning from experienced professionals. You will have an engaged manager and a peer mentor to help you build practical skills and expand your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Own or support a meaningful engineering project aligned with an approved team need.
- Research and analyze technical data, customer requirements, specifications, and design documentation.
- Support the design, testing, validation, and improvement of commercial HVAC products, components, or systems.
- Develop test plans, collect and analyze data, and communicate findings and recommendations.
- Use engineering tools and sound problem-solving methods to support product development, research, testing, or manufacturing initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and document project progress through reports and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited bachelor or master degree program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Engineering Physics, or a related discipline.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with CAD software like SolidWorks, Creo, or AutoCAD is preferred.
- Foundational coursework in Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, or Manufacturing Processes is preferred.
