About the role#
This summer internship provides undergraduate students with hands-on experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. You will work directly with our team in Dixon, Illinois to support core supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and inventory management. This is a paid, full-time position that offers exposure to the software and systems used to keep our supply chain moving.
What you'll do#
- Assist with procurement tasks such as sourcing suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and managing supplier relationships.
- Help with inventory management, including stocktaking, cycle counting, and maintaining accurate records.
- Support the logistics team by coordinating shipments, tracking deliveries, and resolving transportation issues.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and potential improvements.
- Participate in meetings and projects focused on supply chain optimization.
- Prepare reports and presentations for management regarding performance and initiatives.
- Gain exposure to internal supply chain software and systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Distribution Manager.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.0 out of 4.0 cumulative GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Must be a U.S. person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee) due to export control regulations.
