About the role#
This internship focuses on improving the accuracy of field trip data systems at the Minnesota Historical Society. You will support the analysis and communication of data for the 2026-2027 school year. The role involves data cleanup, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preliminary reporting to help the organization understand its impact.
What you'll do#
- Audit data within Artifax reservation software and Hubspot customer relations management software.
- Review and analyze preliminary teacher evaluation data.
- Review and analyze preliminary field trip attendance data.
- Work with Field Trips team members and colleagues from Historic Sites and Museums to prepare year-end reporting documents.
- Participate in three professional development seminars and prepare a final presentation of your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or graduation within the past 12 months.
- Preferred fields of study include History, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Technical proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with diverse groups of people.
- Experience or a willingness to learn program evaluation best practices.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid, part-time position located in St Paul, Minnesota.
- The term runs from January 19, 2027, to May 23, 2027.
- You will work 8-15 hours per week, with a preference for at least one shift in person per week.
- This is a paid internship.
