About the role#
As an Associate Planner Intern, you will support the Electro Optical Infrared Systems team in Melbourne. This role focuses on the coordination of material planning, supply chain monitoring, and production scheduling. You will act as a bridge between project management, accounting, and planning teams to ensure operational goals are met.
What you'll do#
- Maintain manufacturing build plans on a daily basis.
- Create purchase requisitions based on the Master Production Schedule.
- Consolidate demand for purchase requisitions and plan material deliveries.
- Coordinate engineering changes between purchasing and production teams.
- Prepare reports for the program office, management, and customer visits.
- Identify critical parts and issues that impact the Master Production Schedule.
- Manage the disposition of obsolete material.
- Facilitate communication between planning, project accounting, and project management.
- Support and promote company culture and values.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a Junior or Senior in a 4-year Business Administration program or current enrollment in an MBA program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard office procedures.
- Ability to work well within a team and listen to others.
- Flexibility to shift between tasks and projects as needed.
