About the role#
This internship provides a hands-on learning experience within Kiewit Data Services. You will work directly with our data teams to gain insight into the roles and functions that support our operations.
What you'll do#
- Partner with data departments to learn their specific needs and company culture.
- Investigate reported incidents and technical problems.
- Identify and recommend potential solutions or alternatives.
- Review project plans and specifications to determine material requirements, including quantities, quality, and pricing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Data Science, Analytics, or a related field.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer months, typically from May through August.
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to ethics, integrity, and safety.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends if required.
- Reliable attendance and a proactive approach to your work.

- This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site in La Vista, Nebraska.
