About the role#
This internship focuses on improving the accuracy of field trip data systems. You will assist with data cleanup, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preliminary reporting. The position runs from January 19, 2027, to May 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Audit data within Artifax reservation software and Hubspot.
- Review and analyze preliminary teacher evaluation data.
- Examine preliminary field trip attendance figures.
- Work with the Field Trips team and colleagues across Historic Sites and Museums to prepare year-end reporting documents.
- Participate in three in-person professional development seminars and prepare a final presentation of your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or graduation within the past 12 months.
- Pursuit of or a degree in History, Museum Studies, Education, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, or the Social Sciences.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to write clearly and concisely.
- Capability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse individuals.
- Experience with or a willingness to learn program evaluation best practices.
- Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid position based in St. Paul, Minnesota.
- The role is part-time, requiring 8 to 15 hours per week.
- The schedule is flexible, though you should be available for at least one in-person shift per week.
- This is a paid internship.
