About the role#
This internship focuses on improving the accuracy of field trip data systems. You will assist with data cleanup, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and preliminary reporting. The role runs from January 19, 2027, to May 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Audit data within the Artifax reservation software and Hubspot customer relations management system.
- Review and analyze preliminary field trip teacher evaluation data.
- Examine preliminary field trip attendance data.
- Work with the Field Trips team and colleagues across historic sites and museums to prepare year-end reporting documents.
- Participate in three in-person professional development seminars and deliver a final presentation on your work.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student, or graduation within the past 12 months.
- Academic background in History, Data Science, Statistics, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively with groups.
- Experience or a willingness to learn program evaluation best practices.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.
Location & details#
- Location: St. Paul, Minnesota.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a preference for at least one in-person shift per week.
- Commitment: 8 to 15 hours per week.
- Compensation: $17.02 per hour.
- This is a paid, part-time, temporary position.
