About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within manufacturing operations. You will support daily activities and key projects for the Operations and Process Improvement teams. The role involves contributing to business priorities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and building skills in problem solving and teamwork. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support day-to-day operations and project work.
- Conduct research, data review, and analysis to help inform business decisions.
- Create reports, presentations, and process documentation.
- Work alongside team members and stakeholders across the organization.
- Identify ways to improve processes or increase efficiency.
- Present your project findings and results to the team.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing or have completed a BS in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have strong skills in Microsoft Office, specifically advanced Excel.
- You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is helpful.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data visualization tools is a plus.
- Prior experience through internships or academic projects is preferred.
Location & details#
- This role is located on-site in Salisbury, Massachusetts.
- The internship runs for 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week position.
- Compensation ranges from $23.00 to $29.00 per hour based on your degree program and academic standing.
- Eligible interns receive a $3,000 grossed-up lump-sum bonus.
