About the role#
This internship offers hands-on experience supporting logistics priorities at our Spartanburg facility. You will contribute to projects involving transportation, distribution, and inventory movement while working alongside cross-functional teams. This is a full-time, paid position lasting 11 to 12 weeks during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support daily logistics activities and key projects.
- Conduct research and data reviews regarding costs, service levels, and operational performance.
- Build reports, dashboards, and process documentation to help inform business decisions.
- Work with teams in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Procurement.
- Find ways to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase visibility across operations.
- Track key metrics such as freight spend, inventory flow, and carrier performance.
- Present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
- You have advanced skills in Excel and are comfortable using the Microsoft Office suite.
- You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Previous internship or project experience is helpful.
- Exposure to tools like SAP, Power BI, ERP systems, or supply chain planning software is a plus.
