About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering intern at Mill, you will join a team focused on developing new consumer hardware. You will work on design, tooling, and testing for our products. This role offers the chance to work hands-on with hardware components and lab equipment while contributing to our product development cycle.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with mechanical, systems, and firmware teams to design and validate new products.
- Run experiments to collect and analyze hardware performance, while documenting and validating your results.
- Support engineering build activities by partnering with contract manufacturers to track test data and troubleshoot issues.
- Work with engineers to identify the root cause of problems and develop solutions or workarounds.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Fundamental understanding of analog, digital, and power circuit design.
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor drivers.
- Proficiency with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
- Experience with Raspberry Pi and Python for scripting data collection and analysis.
- Experience with Altium or similar schematic design tools.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
