About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering intern, you will join our team to work on a new consumer product. You will spend your time on hands-on hardware tasks, lab work, and design tools. Because we are a small team, you will get exposure to design, tooling, and testing throughout the product development cycle.
What you'll do#
- Work with mechanical, systems, and firmware teams to design and validate new products.
- Run experiments to collect and analyze hardware performance data.
- Document and validate all experimental results.
- Support engineering build activities and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify the root cause of problems and develop solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, or mathematics.
- Fundamental understanding of analog, digital, and power circuit design.
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor drivers.
- Experience using test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Experience with Raspberry Pi and Python for data collection and analysis.
- Familiarity with Altium or other schematic design tools is a plus.
