About the role#
As an Electrical Engineering PhD intern, you will design, develop, modify, and evaluate components used in electronic devices. You will handle the manipulation, transmission, and storage of electricity while defining design approaches, implementation schedules, and technical specifications. This role involves selecting materials and components based on reliability and specification analysis. You will also help develop test plans and guide the preparation and execution of prototype fabrication.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to and improve hardware solutions.
- Use performance instrumentation and present results to team members and architects.
- Communicate and visualize user experiences through strategic and creative thinking.
- Implement or recommend technical solutions to common quality and design challenges, including logic, circuit, physical, and test design.
- Write design verification test cases, test benches, or automation using standard practices.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least one additional quarter or semester of school remaining after the internship ends.
