About the role#
As a TSE R&D Equipment Project Manager Intern, you will support technical equipment programs within our semiconductor manufacturing operations. You will work alongside experienced project leaders to learn management fundamentals. This role involves coordinating schedules, tracking milestones, and facilitating collaboration across teams. As you progress, you will take ownership of specific projects and provide status updates to leadership.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning, scheduling, and execution of equipment qualification, deployment, and risk-mitigation activities.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and dashboards.
- Coordinate recurring meetings with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier partners.
- Track action items, decisions, risks, and issue resolution.
- Assist with equipment build, shipment, installation, and deployment tracking.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify dependencies and support contingency planning.
- Apply AI tools and reporting solutions to improve project tracking and program visibility.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related technical field.
- Plans to return to school to complete your degree after the internship.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and stakeholders at once.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Interest in semiconductor manufacturing, test engineering, or technical program management.
- Experience with project coordination, program management, or engineering operations through internships, academic projects, or coursework.
- Ability to create project schedules, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Experience using AI or AI-assisted productivity tools.
