About the role#
As a 3D DRAM Wet Process Engineering Intern, you will work within a collaborative engineering environment to gain hands-on experience in semiconductor process development. You will contribute to technology development initiatives, analyze manufacturing and experimental data, and support the creation of solutions for next-generation memory products. The internship includes a dedicated project that concludes with a presentation of your findings and recommendations.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize wet process technologies to meet product physical and electrical performance requirements.
- Collaborate with multi-functional process and equipment engineering teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Perform root-cause analysis and failure-mode investigations to resolve process constraints and improve yield.
- Analyze experimental and manufacturing data using statistical methods to support development decisions.
- Apply artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches to enhance process analysis, problem-solving, and engineering productivity.
What you'll need#
- Current Ph.D. student in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field (must not graduate before September 2027).
- Demonstrated experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills to solve complex technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics and experience with statistical process control is preferred.
- Experience applying AI-enabled tools to improve data analysis, research, or engineering workflows is preferred.
- Programming or scripting experience for data analysis, automation, or modeling is preferred.
- General understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.
