About the role#
As a 3D DRAM Photolithography Process Development Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in semiconductor process development. You will work on a dedicated technical project within the 3D DRAM Photo team, collaborating with experienced engineers to solve manufacturing challenges. The internship concludes with a presentation of your project results to technical and leadership teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop and optimize photolithography processes to meet physical and electrical performance requirements.
- Partner with multi-functional process and equipment teams to identify opportunities for technology advancement and process improvements.
- Conduct root-cause and failure-mode analyses to identify process limitations and implement corrective actions.
- Perform statistical analysis of pilot manufacturing and technology development data to support decision-making and process optimization.
- Research and develop innovative solutions for next-generation memory technologies, including the use of data-driven methods to improve engineering efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical field, with an expected graduation date no earlier than September 2027.
- Demonstrated experience with experimental design, data analysis, and scientific or engineering research methodologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities within a research and development environment.
- Advanced knowledge of statistics, statistical process control, or data-driven process optimization techniques.
- Experience using programming or scripting languages such as Python, MATLAB, or JMP is preferred.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, model-based problem solving, or advanced process characterization is preferred.
