About the role#
As a Dry Etch Process Development Engineering Intern, you will work within a research and development environment to support memory technology. You will contribute to projects focused on process development, experimentation, and data analysis. This role provides exposure to semiconductor processing and includes presenting project results to engineering and leadership teams.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop solutions for future memory technologies and advanced dry etch processes.
- Design, complete, and analyze experiments to optimize etch processes and improve product performance.
- Perform statistical analysis on pilot manufacturing and technology development data.
- Collaborate with process, equipment, integration, and multi-functional engineering teams to address technical challenges.
- Use AI-enabled analytical tools to improve data analysis and engineering workflows.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an M.S. or Ph.D. program in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of dry etch semiconductor processing, plasma physics, or related fabrication technologies.
- Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team environment.
