About the role#
As a Process Development Engineering Intern within the Dry Etch team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of advanced plasma etch processes. You will work in a research and development environment under the mentorship of experienced engineers to support future memory technologies. This role involves hands-on experimentation, data analysis, and technical innovation, culminating in a final presentation of your project findings to engineering and leadership teams.
What you'll do#
- Research and develop solutions to support future memory technologies and advanced dry etch process development.
- Design, execute, and analyze experiments to optimize dry etch processes and improve product performance.
- Perform statistical analysis on technology development and pilot manufacturing data to identify trends and process improvements.
- Collaborate with process, equipment, integration, and multi-functional engineering teams to address technical challenges.
- Utilize AI-enabled analytical tools, programming, or automation to enhance data analysis, engineering workflows, and technical decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an M.S. or Ph.D. program in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of dry etch semiconductor processing, plasma physics, or related semiconductor fabrication technologies.
- Experience with experimental design, statistical analysis, and data interpretation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
