About the role#
This internship supports the instructional design team by ensuring course materials meet accessibility standards. You will focus on editing course syllabi and updating source code to support students using screen readers. This position is for the 2026-27 academic year.
What you'll do#
- Edit HTML source code within Canvas and HelioCampus.
- Update course syllabi to ensure they are accessible.
- Track your task progress in a shared spreadsheet.
- Communicate questions and updates to the team.
- Maintain a consistent and reliable work schedule.
What you'll need#
- Previous experience working in a team, such as in student leadership, sports, or previous jobs.
- Comfort with or a willingness to learn basic HTML coding and data entry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, video conferencing tools, and learning management systems like Canvas.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
- The ability to work independently after training.
- Experience in customer service is preferred.

- Compensation: $9.50 per hour.
- Term: Rolling throughout the 2026-27 academic year.
