About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in multifamily real estate finance. You will work directly with underwriters to support transaction due diligence and loan packaging. The program is designed to bridge the gap between academic coursework and professional practice, with interns contributing to real projects that impact our business.
What you'll do#
- Perform due diligence for multifamily transactions.
- Analyze operating statements and rent rolls to determine net cash flow.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate property condition and market quality.
- Order and review third-party reports, including appraisals, engineering, and environmental assessments.
- Assist in drafting underwriting narratives and final loan packages for committee review.
- Collaborate with the production, closing, and insurance teams to resolve deal-specific issues.
- Complete a final project and present your recommendations to department leadership.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college.
- High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- College graduates are also eligible to apply.
- Academic background in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Real Estate.
