About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in New York. You will join the team to perform substantive work related to construction asset management. Throughout the program, you will work with a manager and a mentor to guide your daily tasks and complete a final project. You will also participate in weekly development sessions, including resume reviews, mock interviews, and training on professional networking.
What you'll do#
- Review monthly construction reports to track progress against budgets and timelines.
- Analyze construction budgets and loan documentation.
- Process and track draw requests and disbursements.
- Conduct research on market trends, construction costs, and project risks.
- Participate in meetings with Loan Officers, Asset Managers, and project teams.
- Develop and deliver a final presentation of your project results and recommendations to leadership.
What you'll need#
- Completion of at least your sophomore year of college or possession of a college degree.
- Pursuit of a degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
