About the role#
As a Data Analytics and Corporate Strategy Intern at Vermeer Corporation, you will support Corporate Research, Enterprise Risk Management, and Strategic Project Management. You will assist in discovering and analyzing data, contributing to research, and providing project coordination support. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pella, Iowa.
What you'll do#
- Collect and organize data from various sources to support reporting and analysis.
- Build basic data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate trends and findings.
- Work with structured and unstructured data using databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
- Conduct research on economic indicators, market trends, and external factors.
- Document findings, summarize insights, and prepare materials to help track project progress.
- Provide project management support by scheduling meetings, maintaining project trackers, and organizing files.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program for Data Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of data analysis concepts.
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, or reporting tools (experience with Excel, Power BI, or SQL is preferred).
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain project details.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to ask questions and collaborate with team members.
