About the role#
This paid, full-time internship offers a hands-on preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will spend the summer working alongside store mentors to develop your retail management skills. The program focuses on leading teams, driving sales, and managing daily store operations. You will gain experience in guest service, business reporting, and talent management while preparing for a future in retail leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead and motivate team members to achieve daily store priorities.
- Drive guest experience and oversee operational performance.
- Partner with store leaders to coach, train, and provide performance feedback.
- Lead and present at daily team huddles.
- Review business reports and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot areas for improvement.
- Work on the sales floor and in the backroom to support daily operations, including stocking and building displays.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in retail management.
- Leadership skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to learn and adapt to store technology.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds.
- Pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, Economics, or Human Resources.
