About the role#
This is a paid, 40-hour per week, hands-on training program designed to prepare you for a career in store leadership. As a Stores Executive Intern, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role. You will work closely with mentors and other managers to understand how the retail business functions and what it takes to lead a team. This internship focuses on developing your management skills through daily operations, team leadership, and guest service.
What you'll do#
- Spend time on the salesfloor and in the backroom leading team members and aligning them on daily business priorities.
- Work alongside your Executive Team Lead mentor to understand their responsibilities.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience by ensuring team members are knowledgeable and empowered to assist shoppers.
- Address team member concerns and remove hurdles to ensure smooth operations.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify and follow up on opportunities.
- Lead daily huddles and present priorities to the leadership team.
- Teach, coach, and provide performance feedback to team members.
- Plan daily goals and organize tasks within the building.
What you'll need#

- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous retail experience is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to climb ladders, operate cash registers, and lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds.
- Proficiency in learning and adapting to store technology.

- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $29.50 per hour.
- Locations: This role is available in West Nyack, White Plains, Poughkeepsie, Middletown, Monroe, Spring Valley, Kingston, Newburgh, and Mount Kisco, New York; Stamford, Norwalk, and Danbury, Connecticut; and Closter and Riverdale, New Jersey.
