About the role#
The Store Executive Intern program is a paid, full-time, hands-on training opportunity designed to prepare you for store leadership. Over the summer of 2027, you will gain a realistic preview of the Executive Team Leader role by working alongside a mentor to understand retail business operations. You will spend your time on the salesfloor and in the backroom, learning how to motivate a team, drive sales results, and deliver a high-quality guest experience.
What you'll do#
- Lead team members and align them on daily business priorities.
- Work with your Executive Team Lead mentor to understand leadership responsibilities.
- Manage daily tasks such as stocking shelves, building displays, and maintaining a safe, welcoming environment.
- Teach, coach, and train team members while providing performance feedback.
- Address team member concerns and remove operational hurdles.
- Lead daily huddles and present summaries of results and priorities.
- Review business reporting and guest insights to identify and troubleshoot opportunities.
- Engage with guests to solve their needs and ensure they have a positive shopping experience.
- Participate in training activities, developmental opportunities, and company events.
- Maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
What you'll need#

- Ability to interpret instructions, reports, and business information.
- Capability to handle cash register operations and use handheld scanners.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the building, climb ladders, and scan or move merchandise.
- Ability to frequently lift or move merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds.
- Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Positions are available in New York, Yonkers, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Bronx, Flushing, Long Island City, and Elmhurst.
