AI & Strategic Analytics Intern - Fall 2026

About the role#

The AI & Strategic Analytics Intern will work with the Strategic Insights team at McKesson Specialty Health to explore applications of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, and business intelligence. This role focuses on the intersection of data, technology, and business strategy to improve decision-making and operational effectiveness. You will contribute to AI experimentation, analytical research, and the development of strategic projects while collaborating across business and technology teams.

What you'll do#

• Research emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and innovative analytics practices.
• Develop proof-of-concept solutions and prototypes to demonstrate AI-enabled use cases.
• Analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Support the development of dashboards and visualizations to communicate findings.
• Assist in generating actionable business insights for leadership and stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes through automation and AI tools.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies and large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in innovation.

• Term: Fall 2026 (September 8th through December 31st).
• Modality: Hybrid.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
