About the role#
The Product Business Analyst Intern will join the Product Innovation team within McKesson Canada Specialty Health. This role focuses on supporting digital transformation initiatives designed to improve patient access to therapy and enhance patient support programs. You will work alongside product owners, business stakeholders, and technology teams to design and improve digital solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support product managers and business analysts in gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Assist in mapping business processes, identifying pain points, and recommending opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and product discovery activities.
- Help translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and other project artifacts.
- Assist with testing activities, including coordination, test script writing during user acceptance testing, and validation of business requirements.
- Explore opportunities to improve workflows through automation, digital solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across business, product, operations, and technology.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Health Administration, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and ask thoughtful questions.
- Interest in healthcare, digital transformation, product management, and innovation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to organize information and manage multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
