About the role#
The Data Hub Communication Intern will support the Data Hub Canada technology team by managing communications, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. This role focuses on translating complex information regarding data operations and agile delivery into clear, accessible content for clients, business partners, and internal team members. This is an entry-level learning opportunity designed for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in corporate and technology communications.
What you'll do#
- Assist with communications for Data Hub clients and business stakeholders, including status updates, service notices, release notes, and training materials.
- Support internal communication activities by creating clear, brand-compliant content that explains team initiatives, priorities, and project results.
- Collaborate with the technology team to understand data requirements and delivery progress to ensure consistent messaging.
- Create and edit communication deliverables such as newsletters, intranet posts, presentation content, FAQs, and process guides.
- Support documentation and knowledge management by organizing content related to Data Hub processes, roles, and agile practices.
- Help plan communication strategies, including identifying target audiences, key messages, and appropriate communication channels.
- Gather and summarize stakeholder feedback to assess the clarity and effectiveness of communication materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a post-secondary program in Communications, Public Health, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information for diverse audiences.
- Strong interest in corporate communications, internal communications, and change management.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint.
- High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively in a professional environment, handle sensitive information appropriately, and follow established review processes.

- Location: Saint-Laurent, Quebec (Hybrid).
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8 to December 31, 2026).
- Employment type: Full-time.
