About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern, you will support the development and design of jigs, fixtures, machines, and manufacturing processes. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Fargo, North Dakota.
What you'll do#
- Design or manage the design of tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
- Detail and annotate models, drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate with Design Engineers and Project Managers to ensure all designs meet project requirements.
- Communicate project updates and changes to team members and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with vendors to quote and procure necessary equipment and components.
- Assist with project planning and management alongside the engineering and maintenance departments.
- Maintain project documentation, including budgets, control system logic, and schematics.
- Manage file structures within Inventor Vault, including the CEG Standard Parts Library and the conversion of parts to functional iParts.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
