About the role#
As a Mechanical Design Engineering Intern at Marvin, you will join the Custom Equipment Group. You will work alongside mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, and technicians to support production initiatives. This role provides an opportunity to build your engineering skillset through hands-on projects at our Warroad facility.
What you'll do#
- Design new mechanical equipment.
- Update designs for existing equipment.
- Assemble new equipment.
- Update documentation for preventative maintenance and provisional standards.
- Provide project updates to engineering leadership, including a final presentation.
- Use your own dedicated workstation equipped with AutoCAD and Inventor.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
- You have strong communication skills.
- You are eager to ask questions and discuss technical details.
- You can apply technical concepts learned in school to real-world tasks.
- You are willing to learn new software, procedures, and skills.
- Previous internship experience is helpful but not required.
Location & details#
- Location: Warroad, Minnesota.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position.
- Overtime may be available depending on project needs.
