About the role#
The Mars Petcare Research and Development Internship is a 10-week summer program. You will work on real business problems and gain exposure to various technical areas within the organization. This is a full-time, paid position that includes professional and social engagement activities, mentorship, and access to training resources.
What you'll do#
- Participate in product development activities.
- Support packaging development processes.
- Engage in process development tasks.
- Contribute to quality and food safety initiatives.
- Assist with sensory research and evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Animal Science.
- Status as a student interning the summer prior to your final graduation date.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
- Ability to successfully complete drug and background screening.
- Personal transportation to and from the work site.
