    About the role#

    The Mars Petcare Research and Development Internship is a 10-week summer program. You will work on real business problems and gain exposure to various technical areas within the organization. This is a full-time, paid position that includes professional and social engagement activities, mentorship, and access to training resources.

    What you'll do#

    • Participate in product development activities.
    • Support packaging development processes.
    • Engage in process development tasks.
    • Contribute to quality and food safety initiatives.
    • Assist with sensory research and evaluation.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a degree program for Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Animal Science.
    • Status as a student interning the summer prior to your final graduation date.
    • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for future visa sponsorship.
    • Ability to successfully complete drug and background screening.
    • Personal transportation to and from the work site.

    • Location: Franklin, Tennessee.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Note: Some facilities may process nuts or permit dogs and cats on site.
