About the role#
This is a 10 to 11-week paid summer internship based in Chicago. You will work on-site to gain hands-on experience in research and development. A Functional Lead will serve as your day-to-day mentor to provide guidance and support throughout the program. This role is designed to build your technical skills and professional network.
What you'll do#
- Support compliance functions, including scientific and regulatory affairs.
- Assist with product, process, or packaging development.
- Apply scientific and critical thinking to solve complex problems and generate insights.
- Participate in professional and social activities to network across the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Food Science, Environmental Science, Biological Systems, Packaging, or Chemical Engineering.
- Status as a rising junior or rising senior.
- A results-driven mindset and the ability to build cross-functional relationships.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.
