About the role#
This internship is a 10 to 12 week assignment based in East Hanover, New Jersey. You will join a team of engineers, scientists, and nutritionists to turn ideas into consumer products. You will work on substantial projects, receive guidance from a dedicated supervisor, and participate in networking events with the intern class.
What you'll do#
- Work on product design, process development, quality, nutrition, sensory, or food safety aspects.
- Develop technology to enhance existing products or enable future innovation.
- Conduct consumer-inspired design projects using sensory and consumer insight tools.
- Drive product consistency and integrity by ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
- Participate in team building and networking events with the intern class.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or related fields.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software such as MiniTab, JMP, or SAS.
- Strong analytical and computer skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work on-site.

- Compensation: $1,103 to $1,343 per week, depending on expected graduation date.
- This is a paid, full-time, rolling internship.
